About Edinburgh Tartan Army

April 12th, 2011 by admin No comments »

Eta_logo_2011Although the Edinburgh Tartan Army was founded in 1995 by capital residents, we welcome members from everywhere. As stated in the constitution, the object of the Club is to support Scotland where ever and when ever they play and since our inaugural meeting, members of ETA have been in attendance at all Scotland games. Members are given a Club t-shirt on joining. We organise travel to all home games.

ETA hold monthly committee meetings, that all members are welcome to attend and contribute towards. There are regular social functions each year including Race Nights, trips to Scottish Football Museum and a St. Andrews night dinner. ETA are also represented by their own football team in the annual Tartan Army football tournament. Main club communication is through the website and e-newsletter (which can also be posted to members).

Annual St Andrews Dinner – 26th Nov 2011

November 9th, 2011 by Smithy No comments »

Tickets are available for our annual St Andrews Dinner on Saturday 26th November 2011 at 7pm. Venue will be the Royal Scots Club in Abercromby Place. Tickets cost £35.  In addition to the speaker, pipe band and disco that we have booked, we’re hopeful that Craig Levein will join us for a question and answer session – fingers crossed!

If you haven’t attended any of the previous dinners please feel free to come along and give it a go. It’s a formal event (kilts/suits and/or dresses), predominately attended by couples with a three course meal and reasonable drink prices. And after the success of the recent race night, everyone will get a free drink on arrival.

For tickets, send an email to the ETA address, use the form on our “Contact Us” tab above or contact Martin.

Keeping In Touch

January 13th, 2009 by admin No comments »

As our club grows bigger (currently 122 members) it’s sometimes tricky to keep everyone up to date with what’s happening. We’d encourage as many members as possible to let us have your email address so we can keep in touch.

Sometimes it isn’t practical to send newsletters at short notice to people who haven’t registered for email. If you receive the newsletter in the post then we don’t have your email address. Send it to us at –

eta@edinburghtartanarmy.com

Also, please register for the member’s forum

This is a great way to share information and keep in touch.
