ETA Annual General Meeting
ETA’s AGM is normally held in January, in 2024 the AGM was held on Saturday 17th February at the Taxi Club, about 50 members were present and we were then entertained by a great set from PG Ciarletta and also finished with karaoke.
ETA St Andrews Day Bowling
Every year around St Andrews day ETA host a family fun Ten Pin Bowling evening at Fountainpark. This year’s event is on Saturday 1st November, full details will be sent nearer the time.
ETA Euro 2024 Send Off BBQ
ETA hosted a brilliant BBQ on Sunday 9th June at the Queensberry Bowling Club as a send off for fans ahead of the Euros. The Leith Legend Andy Chung performed for a few hours and we had a fantastic turn out of members and their families in a very successful event. Massive thanks to John Dolphin, head chef of friend of ETA The Piper’s Rest for doing all the cooking.
We also held a very successful raffle for Andy’s Man Club, in memory of ETA member Ryan Gardner who sadly passed away just a couple of weeks before the event. Thank you to everyone that donated prizes and who bought raffle tickets.
ATAC Sevens
ETA is a member of ATAC and they host an annual 7-a-side football competition. This years event was hosted by the Carnoustie Tartan Army on Sunday 4th August. ETA sent a walking team who finished 2ndand a football team that finished a credible 5th. Carnoustie TA put on a great event including the after game social event, the football was one for the 3rd year in a row by Doonhamers TA and the walking football was won by WEBATA.
