Scotland Player of the Season 2006/07

Craig Gordon is Edinburgh Tartan Army's Scotland Player of the Season for 2006/07.

Last year's runner up went one better as Craig Gordon was overwhelmingly voted the Edinburgh Tartan Army Player of the Season for 2006/07.  He played in all 8 fixtures during the season, a feat only matched by Davie Weir and Paul Hartley.  A season where Scotland played only one friendly and only lost in the extremely difficult environments of Bari and Kiev.  The highlight was the fantastic 1-0 win at home to France, Gordon was outstanding  to achieve a clean sheet against the Henry and co.  I'm sure you'll all agree a deserving winner.  The poll took place via email and on the recent bus to the home fixture against Lithuania.

The season started started and ended with victories over the Faroe Islands. You can view individual player stats here.
