ETA in the ATAC 7’s on Sunday

ETA have entered a team in the ATAC 7s on Sunday and will aim to bring the trophy back to Edinburgh for the 3rd time. Charlie Kane is organising the team, there is still room for 1 or 2 players in the squad so email the mailbox if you are interested.

The games will be played at Goals Glasgow West, 2650 Great Western Road, Clydebank, G81 2XT.

ETA have agreed to pay for train tickets for players and supporters wishing to travel, there is a bar with good viewing facilities of the pitches. Bus convener Neil McDonald will organise the train tickets as the nearest station Drumry is just 10 minutes walk from the pitches. The players have to be there for 11:00 so we will be aiming for the 09:10 train from Haymarket station. It is a direct train and they are regular throughout the day. The first game kicks off at 12:00 and the tournament is expected to finish about 15:00. If you intend to travel email us to let us know and meet just outside the ticket office at Haymarket at 08:45.

Members of the 1998 Scotland World Cup Squad will be there for the first game, for full details check out the ATAC website www.associationoftartanarmyclubs.com
