Happy New Year to all of our members, we hope you all had a good festive period and that 2016 is a good one for you. We now have our first Scotland fixtures to look forward to with a visit to the Czech Republic and a home match against Denmark in March. We remind our members that the early bird for SSC renewals has a deadline of Tuesday 2nd February and suggest you sign up. Details for buses for the Denmark game will be posted on here as soon as we have them.
This Saturday (16th January) we have our Annual General Meeting at the Tron on Hunter Square, we have the room from 7pm and the meeting will start at 7.30pm. All members are welcome: it will take the same format as usual with the club putting something behind the bar for a few drinks for the members. If you cannot make the meeting and want to raise anything then get in contact with a committee member or email the mailbox.
We are also needing to finalise numbers for the Burns Supper on Friday 5th February at The Counting House (Pear Tree) on West Nicholson Street. Tickets are £25 per head and all members are invited to bring along friends and family. It will be a night of food and entertainment celebrating Scotland’s most famous bard. If you haven’t already bought a ticket you can do so on Saturday or get in touch with us via the mailbox.
