This month’s ETA committee meeting takes place tomorrow night Wednesday 22nd June at Murrayfield Indoor Sports Club (25 Roseburn Street http://www.murrayfieldindoorsportsclub.co.uk/). The meeting starts at 7.30pm in the meeting room and afterwards we will have a game of ten pin bowling to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the hand of god. The club is a private members club so we need to know in advance if you are attending so please email the mailbox, put a mention on Facebook or contact a committee member if you want to attend. Apologies for late notice we only had definite confirmation yesterday.
Yes it’s 30 years since Diego Maradona scored one of the finest goals ever witnessed in football and also scored another where he dribbled from deep in his own half with a trail of England defenders left in his wake. We may even do the hokey cokey although with the referendum on Thursday maybe we shouldn’t be singing about in and out. Let us know if you are coming and see you tomorrow.
