ETA are planning a day out to Killiecrankie on Saturday 30th July to have a BBQ and learn a bit about Scotland’s history. The plan is to hire a bus which will leave from Morrison Link at 10am and head North. It will be a good day to be away from Televisions and other media outlets being the 50th anniversary of an event most of us would all rather forget.
BBQ food will be provided but if you have any special dietary or luxury requirements then bring your own and you can bring your own refreshments too. Families are welcome and the cost is £10 per adult to cover the bus and food with kids going free. As well as organising games for kids and adults and providing food we’ve also arranged for esteemed historian Gary Stewart to give us guided tours of the battlefield. The aim is for the bus to depart for home around 6pm.
